Welcom
to Rheinbube, a Münchhausen * Sixtux
one year old horse and Rilke's Half brother. Münchhausen
by Hohenstein out of Mohnblüte by Königstein
Münchhausen :
Münchhausen by Hohenstein out
of Mohnblüte by Königstein. Münchhausen
was the champion of his approval in 1997. As a three year
old, he was the National Trakehner Riding Horse Champion
and qualified for the Nationals this same year, where he
stood third in a group of prestigious Hannovarian and
Oldenburg riding horses. Münchhausen is ridden by Grand
Prix rider Fie Christine Skarsoe. Together, they
represented Germany at the 2001 FEI World Championships
for young dressage horses in Verden, where they took the
reserve championship in the 6year old division. Münchhausen,
only 9 years old, has moved on to win Intermediaire I and
Prix St. George at international level. In 2005, he was a
member of the Danish Team at the European Dressage
Championships in Hagen/Germany.
Sixtus :
The black elite stallion Sixtus
is one of Trakehnerdom's current superstars. Reserve
champion of his approval in 1991, international show
jumper for Germany during his active career and at this
point, sire of 14 approved sons and countless high score
stud book mares. Sixtus also holds the breed's
highest show jumping index in terms of successfully
competing offspring and also has several top notch event
horses and FEI dressage horses among his get. No other
stallion has his aura and air, meeting Sixtus is
like meeting "The black stallion" in real life
and hardly anyone can excape his tremendous expression.
Among the many successful Sixtus sons. The name Sixtus
will mean just as much as Consul, Arogno, Mahagoni
or Matador. Sixtus passes on his own
incredible athleticism and often highly spirited horses. Sixtus
is known to produce very good trots with excellent front
arm mechanics and impulsion. The canter in his offspring
is not always the typical uphill canter you would like to
see for your dressage prospect.
